It has been some time since I sent my last report, but today when I tuned to your program, I decided to write one. We're glad to hear that VOV's transmission on 11885 kHz to Finland provided you with an overall very good listening experience, despite some slight drops and interference from another station. Yen Tu has become a Buddhist centre of Vietnam since King Tran Nhan Tong gave up the throne, put on a monk's robes, and established the Truc Lam Zen Buddhism based in Vietnam in the 13th century. He built hundreds of large and small works on Yen Tu Mountain as places for practicing and preaching Buddhism. Serena hot spring resort in Kim Boi, Hoa Binh province B: Ueda Tomoharu in Hokkaido, Japan, asks: “Does Vietnam have many hot mineral springs?” Yes, there are more than 200 hot springs throughout Vietnam though only a handful have been developed and conveniently accessible for public bathing. The mineral water is sourced directly from Quang Hanh’s natural hot mineral spring, with temperatures ranging from 36 to 40 degrees Celsius. Now it’s called Alba Wellness Valley which includes hot springs bathing, a recreation center with a waterpark and zip line, hotel and resort, and a bottling plant for Alba Mineral Water. It’s just about 30km from Hue city center. A: Binh Chau in the southern province of Vung Tau has been a popular hot springs destination for decades. The temperatures range from 40-82 degree Celsius at different points. The resort, which is about 70km from Ho Chi Minh City and 45km from Vung Tau city center, provides shuttle services from Ho Chi Minh City for staying guests.
